Microchip Scanners

Our Microchip readers combine portability with ease of use. There are two models to choose from depending on your budget and your requirements.

Our standard scanner comprises of an internal memory slot. The memory card can be removed and read by a computer. It also comes with an RS-232 cable and with a program (found on our Microchip Reader support pages), you will be able to read microchips directly into a program such as PetAdmin. We also offer an RS232 to USB converer if you have a laptop without an RS232 serial port.

The enhanced reader has a bluetooth connection to computer, eliminating the need for wires. We also offer a bluetooth adaptor for computers for this convenience if you use a desktop computer without bluetooth. Most laptops are available with bluetooth integrated.

Both models are powered by a standard 9 volt battery.
